About Dr. Lo
Using robotic, laparoscopic, endoscopic and other surgical techniques, Dr. Lo treats a wide range of conditions, including abdominal, reflux, colon, gallbladder, breast, cancer, thyroid and vascular. Comfortable working with all ages, his philosophy of care is to partner with the patient and their support and care teams to develop an achievable goal and plan to address their concerns and disease. “I believe it’s important for the patient to understand the disease and why surgery may offer a reasonable solution, and endeavor to explain this in a straightforward, easy-to-understand manner so the goal can be achieved.”
A Wisconsin native, Dr. Lo earned his bachelor’s degree with Honors and Distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-School of Medicine and Public Health and completed his surgical residency with research and two awards for technical excellence at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is an American Board of Surgery Diplomat and a member and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
A former U.S. Air Force Airman, Dr. Lo was honored with an Air Medal for service in combat zones during multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Europe in support of wounded soldiers and civilians.
When not busy with work, Dr. Lo enjoys spending time with his family, whether it be outdoors, at home or travel.
