Patricia Martins, APNP
About Patricia Martins, APNP
An experienced nurse practitioner who has been in the health care field for 30 years, Patricia Martins has found her niche in treating patients with breast cancer and benign breast disease as well as working with the high-risk population. “The best part of my job is caring for patients and being able to support them through the cancer journey. I am constantly amazed by their strength and perseverance and feel hopeful with the new treatment trends on the horizon.”
Patricia completed an advanced training course in genetic cancer risk counseling through City of Hope – a comprehensive cancer program in California. She is among just a select number of practitioners in the world to receive this training and is a member of the Clinical Cancer Genomics Community of Practice. Patricia earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Marian University in Fond du Lac and she received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She belongs to the Breast Professional Leadership Committee and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
Outside of work, Patricia enjoys being with her family. She especially likes spending time at her lake house and traveling to warm locations.
